Foraminal Stenosis Treatment in Houston

Reducing Pain & Improving Muscle Strength

Foraminal stenosis is when the cervical disc space narrows due to joint enlargement in the spinal canal. People who have this disease often experience non-continuous pain that develops over a period of years and is related to repeated activities/postures, such as bike riding or holding one’s neck in a specific position for hours and days at a time. To ensure you have foraminal stenosis, we at Spine Disc Replacement Center may conduct an MRI or CT scan using myelogram.

Symptoms of foraminal stenosis can include:

  • Pain
  • Tingling
  • Numbness
  • Muscle spasms
  • Muscle weakness

Depending on the affected foramen, said symptoms may develop in different areas of the body, such as the lower back, hips, buttocks, legs, and/or feet. At our Houston spine center, we can properly diagnose your spine/neck problem, as well as provide multiple treatment plans, depending on your needs and wishes.
